Researchers hope to one day use gene therapy to do what? Well, I hope they will use gene therapy to alter my "faulty gene" that causes me to have bladder cancer. Other than that, maybe they can use gene therapy to prevent any of a million other illnesses that are genetically based. I think it's going to be a while before all this happens. |
