Has anyone else noticed that while we can't cure some very nasty diseases we are all over? |
solving erectile dysfunction? I just saw a medical documentary that stated by 2010, men with erectile dysfunction will be able to have a new penis grown for them. Also, within 10 years gene replacement therapy will be available for this problem. But still no cure for cancer. I think we are in desperate need of more women researchers here. Actually, no, they weren't selling anything. This was a documentary on research relating specifically to erectile dysfunction. And I'm aware that there are treatments for some types of cancer that can send it into remission for 25 years or more, but no real cure. Researchers will research whatever would result in a profit for their company. A "cure for cancer" is the holy grail of any research company. Cancer Research charities have millions of pounds in their coffers and a single cure for all forms of cancer would be unlikely. There are many cures for cancer depending on the type. Medical research focuses on treating the very nasty diseases. What you are seeing is advertising for a product that many people think that they need and are willing to spend big bucks for,, not only that, but look at all the research money spent for new types of mascara and make up and eyelash transplants, and all the doctors dedicated to plastic surgery who could be working on cancer. researches in the UK and US spend 8 figure numbers on developing viagra and about 10% of that in finding cures for malaria which is the major killer in parts of africa and the poor world ! |
