Is there a presciption for small children? The doctor thinks, he has gastroesophageal reflux disease!?

He's only 2 years old, worry about the alcohol in the RX?

why didn't you ask the good doctor?

Your doctor is a quack!

Thinks? Souldn't there be at least a barium swallow test or esophgeal pH test performed? Why is ther alcohol in the Rx? What is it?

Lets get to a real doctor before we start giving a child medication for something the doctor "thinks" he may have.

Hiatal Hernia perhaps.

Alcohol is prescribed for blood purification.
Just ask the Dr if RX contains alcohol.
consult a Gastroenterologist.
Take Care.

The best way for anyone of any age to treat this problem is simply to eat a banana. For a young child, you may want to puree it first or use commercial banana baby food. You could keep some of the latter on hand for times when the child has an episode.

What' s the child's diet? could be an allergy, lactose intolerance, anything. Any other symptoms? Don't know about giving drugs to a 2 year old for something like that... Try some diet adjustments, some raw veg, celery works for reflux, if the kid will eat it. Lay off the grains and dairy, see what happens.
