PCOS and prolactin? |
Can anyone tell me how PCOS can affect prolactin. I know that prolactin will affect ovulation so tests are done to ensure that the prolactin isn't causing the symptoms of PCOS and prolactin should be low or normal. But then when I was looking at prolactin it said that it might be an effect of PCOS: PCOS is connected to high testosterone levels. If prolactin levels are high that means that the person may also have a problem with the pituitary gland. |
