31 y.o. M admitted with gastroenteritis with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea of 5-6 liquid stools in 24hrs. bP 90/60,
HR 100, RR 20, temp. 37.8, sunken eyeballs, poor skin turgor,

LABORATORY:
(+)antamoeba hystolitica in fecalysis..

what will be my best nursing diagnosis?
can i use deficient fluid volume related to nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea?

How far have you gotten in nursing school? I hope you're not wanting us to do your care plan for you! :)

The nursing process consists of:
- Asssssment
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Implementation
- Evaluation

Your nursing textbook should have a sample care plan your can adapt to this diagnosis. This will of course require research, but being able to research diseases will make you a better nurse.

If this is your first care plan and you're confused (that first care plan is always the hardest, but usually it's something simple like a decubitus ulcer!), see your instructor.
