I keep getting Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)? |
I have gotten it about 3 times in the past three months. I think , out of self diagnosis, that that's what i had. but why do i keep getting it repeatably and so fast inbetween? Gastroenteritis is can either be caused by a virus or a bacerium. You can limit your exposure to these agents with proper and effective hygiene and sanitary practices. Maybe its something in your house like mold. Gastroenteritis isn't a flu at all. It's usually a viral infection but can also be caused by bacteria. The easiest and most effective way to prevent it is to practice good hand hygiene and by making sure that everyone around you does the same. please go to a regular md or a gastroenterologist.you may be describing gastritis, a stomach inflammation, an ulcer, gall bladder disease etc. goodluck;)michele I thought I had gastroenteritis. Turned out to be my appendix, which was promptly removed. No more trouble. |
