Cures for eczema, natural or prescribed? |
My 10 month old baby has terrible eczema. At the moment his hands are infected and his prescribed treatments are not working. So far hes had Hydrocortisones, fucidic cream, antibiotics and zinc bandages. His sores are so bad that the bandages are sticking to them and when removing them the skin is being torn off which then bleeds for a few minutes. Hes in a lot of pain when I remove the bandages so Ive stopped them for now. Ive already seen the doctor on several occasions and everything he prescribes fails. I need help....i don't know what else to do and would love advice on people in similar situations. On top of that my 5 year old has gastroenteritis (sp) and glue ear which is infected so you can probably tell I need some relief for one of them! Arbonne has a great pure, safe, and beneficial baby care line (hair and body wash, lotion, body oil, diaper rash cream, and sunscreen) that is water based, botanically-based and pH correct, pediatrician and dermatologist tested, non-sensitizing, non-irritating, and formulated without nut oils. They are formulated with natural ingredients like oat flour which is an emollient and an emulsifier. It鈥檚 highly absorbent and hypoallergenic. Oat flour helps to soothe and soften dry, itchy and sensitive skin. If you're interested in learning more, I'll be happy to help you. with my sons all 3 have that skin problem. immediately after a bath i apply aveeno and it locks in to add moisture and their skin doesnt crack anymore becaus eits no longer dry. ive also used a little cortizone. nothing prescribe dever worked. there is no cure for eczema, however, I have found pine tar soap to be very helpful in controlling it. soaps irritate eczema. Use only gentle non soap on skin and a baby soap on clothing. |
