Stomach problems?

For the last three weeks, I've been experiencing difficulty every time I try to eat. Even if I eat slowly, I become full very quickly, even to the point that I become nauseous all of a sudden and sometimes have to vomit, along with severe pains right under my chest.

When I am able to keep my food down, I have terrible, "muscous-y" diarrhea along with intestinal cramps for three to four hours after eating.

I have been to the ER, and they've just treated me for gastroenteritis. I don't have health insurance and I don't want to see a general physician unless absolutely necessary. Does anyone have any idea what the cause of my troubles could be?

My daughter has had stomach problems recently. I don't think it's as bad as you seem to be dealing with. But she got to the point she couldn't do anything. She would just cry. We got her the Activia yogurt that is supposed to help your digestion and we also bought her the smoothies and anything else that we could find that has Bifidus or Acidophilus in it. I know they also have vitamins that or powders that you could add into foods that will help. But ever since then when her stomach hurts she grabs a yogurt and she is fine.

Gastroenteritis is inflammation, it could be caused by any number of things, some benign and some very serious. GET HEALTH INSURANCE what if you get hit by a bus?

Anyway try avoiding caffiene, alcohol, and MSG as well as spicy foods. Also using an over the counter antacid like pepcid AC before meals.
