Typical blood pressure range of an acute emergency.? |
Scenario: A patient comes to you and complains of severe diarreah, abdomenal pains, and a fever. Diagnosis is gastroenteritis. Patiend stands up and faints. What range would you expect his blood pressure to be as soon as he faints? 54/23? Heart rate? Generally, the blood pressure of a person who has fainted is low. 54/23 is too low to keep standing, or even conscious. The heart rate in a situation like that would probably be pretty fast. it would be different for everybody. 54/23 is really low though |
