Stomach pains? |
I began having stomach pains yesterday - pain located centrally under the ribcage and feeling like cramps. The pains come and go but seem to be aggravated by movement. I have no sickness but did have a bout of diarrhoea this morning. Is this likely to be gastroenteritis or something more sinister? Should I be trying to eat or not - I don't really have any appetite at the moment... I am not pregnant. i had this, went to the doctors and they said i was lying :@ if u have pains of any type that doesn't go away, best bet is to go to ur gp or one of the walk in centres. u can get the best medical advice there. that almost sounds like appendicitis. call your doctor hot line and tell them your symptoms. then they will tell you what you should do. The chances of it being something sinister are not high compared with the chances of it being something just annoying. However, something is wrong so you shouldn't ignore it and suffer needlessly while you hope it goes away. Sounds like it could be indegestion i had it for years with the pain central at the bottom of my ribcage..try an indegestion remedy or sipping water ....you should see a doctor if the pain persists though Greasy or high fat food and acidic food like citrus juices, carbonated drinks should be avoided. A tablespoon of coriander seeds is a natural home remedy for stomach aches, to be eaten after meals.
