Is there an effective treatment for a patient having gastric cancer at the age of 77?

Hi... In India there is a sad and inhuman trend that since older people have lesser life expectancy better treat a young patient properly than the older ones... sorry to say but this is an open secret... just let me know whether a 77 yr old gastric cancer patient can be treated properly... atleast in a way that the life expectancy goes up by another 1-2 years?

There are many effective treatments for stomach cancer. But success in treatment depends on the extent of the cancer and if the patient has any other conditions. Treatments may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and sometimes drug therapy. You will want to discuss all options with your doctor. For more information, check out www.mayoclinic.com

The best treatment for this condition is surgery. The age per se does not increase the mortality and morbidity of the operation if there is not any comorbidities like cardiac or pulmonary problems.the life expectancy of 1_2 years is possible if the cancer was detected in early stage.

I heard a story about someone with cancer having excellent luck with Reiki. I know a Reiki master who often volunteers at the local cancer center. it might be worth checking out.

his cancer can be reversed naturally and without the
deadly side effects.
