Very worried does this sound like gastric or stomach cancer please honest people only? |
66 year old male had complained of feeling full and nausious for about a month threw up 3 times since end of september has lost 14 pounds in about 3 weeks went to th edr took alot of blood nd a chest xray and going for a ultra sound of his stomach tomorrow he burps alot and said he feels full now the last 2 days he has been eating alot but still has a nauseaus stomach and feeling like there is no room for food feels full dr ordered a tsh and a psa total and also npi-upin cad 4019 analayse-lipase dont know what none of it means any help would be appreciated thank you No idea but I would concentrate on what the Dr.'s say not yahoo answers...he should have an mri i would suggest...ask him to see if the doc agrees or if the ultra sound is all that is needed. well it does not sound good. but it could just be a gi bleed. My mother had the same symptoms and it was gall bladder, skewz the spelling. She had surgery, now shes fine You wont know fr sure if it's cancer or not til the results from the doctor, but maybe it's something he's eating? Try varying your diet. Best of luck to you. Do you mean acid reflux/ I hate to sound mean or something but I really really think you should speak with a doctor or some health care provider instead of asking people on here. If it's that serious to you, you need reliable information. Not sketchy or possibly inaccurate info. Good luck. Well, it sure does NOT sound like GALL BLADDER . I had a gall bladder attack and it did not do that at all .. It felt like I was having a heart attack. Just constant pain and doubling over in stomach and in the back. You don't seem to have those syptems.. I like the answer that one person above gave.. continue to c your doc .. it does sound like u have alot of acid build up and cancer can happen with all that .. so c your doc and take your med and lay off accidy foods and drinks and stop smoking if u do .. will not help I really don't know if it is stomach cancer or not. It could be many things. It could be an Ulcer, liver problems or many other things. You really need to patient and wait for the results of the test. Asking on Yahoo Answers is not a good idea. You will get so many answers that are wrong. I do know what a psa test is though. It is a test to see specific antigens in the prostate. A TSH is a test done to see what the thyroid stimulating hormone level is. An NPI-UPIN CAD 4019 analyze-lipase, is a test of any of the several enzymes, secreted in the digestive tract, that catalizes the break down of fat. The doctor will know best. I don't know who the person is, but will be glad to include him in our prayers. God be with you both. Sounds like he has problems with his stomach, duodenum, liver, or pancreas! Well.. this really sounds like gastric or cancer.. Hope it's just gastric or any other mild illness. The symptoms you included can also be caused by some virus or ulcer. It is better to wait for the doctor's diagnose but for now have you asked the old male if he feels severe pain in his stomach? did he find some blood on his stool? how about tiredness or breathlessness? is he having some difficulty swallowing? heartburn? does he have blood clots? or becoming anemic? how about constipation? the symptoms i asked you are caused by stomach cancer.. if you answered mostly yes then im not saying that it is really cancer but it is better to be sure as early as possible.. please tell him to follow his doctor.. i'm not going to pretend I know a lot about stomach cancer, but I do know that tsh= thyroid stimulating hormone, and psa is for prostate cancer. i didn't read through all the answers, so sorry if someone else told u that already |
