Gastritis & gastric ulcer?

I went to my family doctor in July because I had problems with my stomach (too much stomach acid). My doctor told me that I have gastritis and also gastric ulcer. Since then I'd taken Naxium till the beginning of October.

It seemed like I got better and had no problem with my stomach. However, like since the last week I feel like my stomach is burning again. I always feel hungry (empty stomach). So if I eat something, my bowel rumbles so loud that everyone looks at me in the class. When I am lying down, I feel really uncomfortable. I occasionaly have headache. Are these symptoms of gastritis? I will go to my doctor this coming monday, but it's so disturbing right now...

What are some good/bad foods that help my conditions?
I'm only 18. Is it possible that I have stomach cancer?

Have your doctor check to see if you have H-Pylori bacteria in your GI tract. You may have to go on some antibiotics. Until then, try taking an over the counter proton pump inhibitor along with your daily Nexium. That may help ease the breakthrough burning and gnawing you are experiencing.

Don't eat big meals and don't eat before bed. Avoid food with acid like tomatoes and oranges. Take a Rolaids before bed.
