Low total protein & albumin levels Are Low what does this mean? pls read more in details need some advise!? |
I had gastric bypass in Oct 2005 almost a yr ago and I have had leg pain, swelling, and feeling run down allot! I had my blood work done and everything is great but the Dr. I went to did not tell me my Total protein (5.8) & Albumin (3.5) were very low! I did some research & going to see a new Dr tomorrow & wanted to ask if anyone has any idea and or went through this as well & what does it mean or might mean? I am very concern due to cancer, liver and heart disease runs big time in my family. Yes I am scard PLS only serious carring answers. The causes of low total blod protein and low albumin levels (from blood tests) are: THe other person on here has been reported many times! Report It |

I'm puzzled why your bone... elevated AFP by itself is not diagnostic, only suggestive some conditions like preg rise it.... also some harmless conditions like bowel disease,liver swelling etc... also some cancers like live... Did it go away? Or were you in fact an eradication failure, 15% of triple therapy fails even if it is taken properly, which it often isn't. Either way an alternate regime can be tried, however... Water is good for us all, but it can't cure everything! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And in this situation, I'd say it definitely is bogus. It's always a g... |
