Gastric Bypass...? |
Im having gastric bypass, what kind of things should I bring with me? (personal hygiene stuff, etc..) I just had GB back in October and I took toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo/conditioner, curling iron, hair dryer, sudoku puzzle. I didnt use any of it. I would just take you toothbrush and toothpaste maybe and some hard sole slippers something stable to walk in because if your doc is like mine they want you up every 2 hours walking. I would wear clothes such as pj bottoms that are loose around the waist and then just wear them home so you dont have to take an extra outfit. Hope this helps and good luck with your surgery. I have lost 70 in a little over 3 1/2 months. I dont regret any of it. It has been the best thing I could have done. Just do what the docs and nutritionist say and you will be fine. i know you sound sincire i feel for you man but pleas dont do it dont ples listen dont do it after the surgery smetimes it feels like yu cant eat enough and you will wish you were dead just dont eat so much and your stomach wil shrink doing the same as gastric bypass trust me dont d it The hospital has all you need from toothpaste to toothbrushes to deoderant to soap and shampoo. You don't need anything. People take their own just because they may perfer their brand. Take a robe and slippers to cover your butt and feet when they walk you down the hall. Clean underware. Reading material. Crossword puzzles or something to keep you from getting so bored. Bring some of your own stuff, including a bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, face soap. |
