Gastric bypass?? |
I was wondering if anyone knew how long you would have to be with youre insurance company before they would even think of approving something lke this. I know its different with each company but if you could maybe give me an average id appreciate it. ok well she was already approved for it by the doctor but she doesnt have insurance so i was just wondering if you guys think the insurance would cover it if she just joined a plan right now It would depend on how long you tried the other things that may be recommended such as trying things like Weight Watchers, doing the pills like Xenical. Also, they would most likely have you undergo a psychiatric evaluation to make sure that you were ok with the idea of the fact that this surgery is pretty permanent and also the risks involved with the surgery. You would have to qualify for this kind of service not any company will pay for this unless it is something that your doctor request that is needed for you if you are way over weight. I dont really no of any insurance that will just pay for that. But dont get me wrong I dont no all the insurace compaies either . I might just say also be very carefull on this , I no it might be something you really want. I am not trying to scare you but A lady friend of mine had one done and she was like 37 she got infection and died. I mean we were shocked. I am not saying this to scare you once again but this is happening more and more all the time now. GOod luck with you choice Weight loss surgery-like gastric bypass have become very common and very safe now. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Obesity surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS. |
