Gastric Bypass Surgery: What Nutritional Supplements Do You Need?

I'm not getting gastric bypass, but I have idea I wanted to try of trying to mimic it by eating very small portions for meals. :) And I'd also take the pills that gastic bypass patients take to make sure that I get all my vitamins and minerals.

I'm not morbidly obese or anything, but I could stand to loose 50-70 pounds. ;) I'm not too fond of intense excercise, so I'd rather eat less and exercise at a more moderate level.

Is this healthy, or will my body go into starvation mode because it feels that my stomach is too empty because it has not been reduced in size?

Hope I dont sound silly. Just thought it may be a good idea. Hoping to get some opinions from people and if you know the complete list of vitamins needed, please list them for me. Thanks! :)

There is a singnificant percentage of people that get peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) after losing weight fast. Aprox 5%. Here is a website that list vitamins you will need if you have gastric bybass surgery. Definately consider taking B-complex vitamins. Ask your doctor.
