Gastric bypass and Pouch reducing diets.? |
I had gastric bypass almost two years ago. Ive lost about 120 lbs but I'm still about 40 lbs from my goal. I want to know if anyone knows any web sites that have good pouch reducing cleansing diets. I know they exist I just don't know where to find them. Basically what you need to do is to go back to the basics. Pull out the notebook that your nutritionist gave you when you first had your surgery. Go back to drinking 64 oz of decaf, non-carbonated SF fluids. Eat 65-70 grams of protein a day. Take your multi vitamins, B12, and minerals daily. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Don't drink with meals or for 90 minutes after meals. Maybe even kick start the whole thing by going with only shakes the first one or two days. Remember all the disapline you had back just after the surgery. |
