Ganglion Cyst On Wrist? |
I have a ganglion cyst on my right wrist and i was wondering about if they get bigger the longer they remain on your wrist or if they will go away by not using my wrist as much. I have done a fair amount of research on the topic and have found a couple treatments such as aspiration surgery and the bad idea of smashing it. If anyone knows of any prooven herbal remedies I would be very happy to hear about them. I also am considering aspiration and was wondering how much it hurts or what it feels like i am a bit concerned. Old timers always told me to "Smash the sucker with a Bible" but please do not! It would only cause you a great deal of pain, and only make your situation worse. I had a ganglion cyst on my left wrist a few years ago and had it surgically removed....piece of cake! It healed very well, and although the area is a little sensitive to touch...(most scars are) the cyst has not come back. My surgeon told me that the cyst would only grow bigger if I ignored it. People who do alot of repetitive movement with their hands ie. drummers, yard work, percussions seem to get these cysts . Good Luck! |
