Smashing your ganglion cyst with a bible...does it hurt?

i have a ganglion cyst on my wrist and many people are saying i should smash it with a book......i'm afraid that it will hurt..(can't tollerate much pain...) so if anyone has gone through that please let me know...eheh..thanks

I used a wooden mallet. It hurt for a little while, but not as bad as it had hurt before I hit it. And it did work. They call them bible cysts cause that how doctors would get rid of them . Bibles being the heaviest books they have.
However, I wouldnt advise doing it, because you could hit something wrong and cause extra damage. There is alot of bones and ligaments in that area that could be damaged. And believe me, that would be 10 times worse than the cyst.

It did come back, too. And the next time, I didnt have the nerve to smash it.

It will not hurt more than it normally would if you smashed your wrist with a bible. The ganglion cyst will not affect how much pain you experience from this activity.

If you do do it, be careful not to do it hard enough to damage the wrist, and be advised that the cyst will more than likely reappear eventually anyway.

There's no real cure for them. Even surgical removal has a high failure rate. They are very annoying, aren't they? Sigh. But what are you gunna do?

Good luck.
