Has anyone has a ganglion cyst in their hand not in wrist? |
Ganglion cyst connected to tendon. Very strange place. Its from flailing your arms around too much when you walk I do not have one in my hand but in my wrist and it doesnt hurt, just sometimes bothers me(well I press down on it all the time) sometimes you can see if I bend my wrist and sometimes not. I cant find a doctor who will remove and that takes my insurance, usually they leave them cause the are connected to the nerve or tendon or whatever... I had one on my ring finger for years. It was kind of an annoyance and eventually just disappeared on its own. A friend of mine had one at the base of her finger, too. Hers also went away without treatment, although she did consult a doctor because it bothered her. They can remove them, but I understand they are prone to recur. |
