I may have a ganglion cyst on my wrist.?

It looks like it's at the end of my index and birdie finger joints close to my wrist on the back of my left hand (and I'm left-handed). It kinda looks like I have a very small one on my birdie finger joint. Whenever I bend my wrist you can see it but if I keep my hand straight you can't see it at all unless you look really hard...and lately my hand's been hurting whenever I try to use my fingers to press like on a tv control or something like that in that same area where that cyst is. Do you think that I need to go to a dr. and see about getting it removed (or drained) or do you think I should just leave it alone and let it go down on it's own?

btw, I've read up on it, I'm just wanting some other people's opinions about what I should do with it. Thanks.

I have a cyst on my lower arm near my wrist though it could be termed a nodule. It doesn't cause me any pain.

Yours though, sounds as if it causes you discomfort so I advise going to a doctor or at least calling your doctor.
