Painful ganglion cyst on wrist. I have had it drained once. It has come back bigger and more painful.?

Any suggestions?

I once had that-they used to call it "a bible cyst-they'd actually smack a bible or book ON it to go away! believe that! true)-Mine never had to be drained though , just went away-you really should go back to the Dr. who drained it before,& have him/her look at it.

Did they inject it with steroids?? Sometimes take a couple of tries.

Need to be referred to an orthopedist to have it removed.

Have them remove it permanently in the docs office.

most of the time, those cysts found on the wrists come back even after they've been drained.there is a big possibility for that most especially if your wrists are always at work or very stressed out. You better seek medical help immediately for further management
