Should I still go to the doctor after a ganglion cyst has went away?? |
I had a lump on my hand..researched it on the net. I came to the conclusion...I am not a doctor but decided it was a cyst (lets just say 95% sure) Well I was going to wait to go to the doctor when I got some health insurance...which now I do..but it suddenly went away. I was amazed..maybe it was the piece of Salmon the I ate..I do not know. I would be shocked if the salmon made it go away...hooray!! Should I still go get it checked out or just wait until I go back to the doctor for a phsycal ..which is coming up in a few months?? If it went away on its own it probably wasn't a ganglion cyst. See your doctor if it comes back. It was not the salmon that resolved it- it just spontaneously resolved. It will probably come back at some time, and even with surgery it often comes back. Ask your doctor when you go for the physical. Yes, its always better to go and talk to a doctor rather than searching on internet. |
