I had my ganglion cyst for months it didnt go away like other peoples did.?

Sometimes they do go away on their own but sometimes they need to be removed surgically. In the old days they called them "bible bumps" because they were treated by striking and flattening them with a heavy book rather than the surgery done nowadays.

These are encapsulated fluid cysts of the tendon sheath and have to be removed in their entirety. (Surgical excision) They often recurr if just drained.

i had one on my wrist and a doctor shot some medication into it and it went away enough to move my wrist been years.
sometimes it comes back but not as large as when i first got it .Ive heard hitting it with a book my bust them. However i never tryed.lol
