I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist...? |
one way to get rid of this is to smash it with a heavy book. I've had one of those on my wrist too. My doctor told me that repetitive wrist motions cause them. When your motions slow down, it will start going away on it's own. But when your motions increase again, it will come back. A doctor can either aspirate the cyst, putting a needle into the cyst and taking out the liquid, or to surgically remove it. A doctor won't do anything like that unless it's interfering with your movements. You are just going to have to let it go away on it's own. I had mine for 2 years and it just went away 3 months ago. No,please do not do anything this silly and painful. Seek medical help immediately. Usually they can be removed with a fairly simple surgery. You should see and Orthopedic surgeon. |
