How does one overcome a gambling problem? |
I seriously hate the affects gambling has had on my life. All aspects of my life have been damaged as a result of my compulsive gambling habits, yet I am always struggling with some inner urge to throw down a bet. As detremental to my life and to the people I love as it is, sadly - I rarely win that struggle. How do I overcome my compulsive gambling issues? You know what I do not wish to sound cruel but , the only person who can change this "gambling" situation is YOU...no amount of therapy, coaching or anything else will do it ..YOU are the one with the problem and YOU have to strict with yourself if YOU really want to quit this habit. I have every sympathy please don't get me wrong but the answer lies within YOU. xx good luck xx I would suggest going to therapist to work things out It might cost money but it will be better than spending all of it. try a support group like gamblers anonymous. GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS CHECK INTO IT MY DADS GOES TO MEETINGS GOOD LUCK well if you have a complusive disorder then i highly recommend seeing professional help, it can do you wonders |
