What is the best way to stop my gambling addiction.? |
i owe everyone money and need to stop gambling but i cant stop because i owe everyone money i have a job and i am on拢50,000 a year but i am still broke Find a gamblers anonymous meeting and get a sponsor. There people there that can give you real help. You should do something else. Maybe get a job so you can earn the money and focus on something else during the day. You might want to watch TV more. It's always easier with a support group. Check online for one near you. First of all, you admit that you have a problem, that is great. Next, find friends, family members, or go to a Gambling Anonymous group where you have a sponsor. You need to find someone you trust to hold you accountable. Then I would suggest finding something else to do with the time that you are usually gambling - drink water. It actually works - if you drink a glass of water and still don't feel better and want to go, drink another glass.
