Is addiction to gambling curable? |
Is addiction to gambling curable? Yes. Yes... but you must make up your mind and stick to the decision. Only when there is nothing left to gamble I don't know.. I believe it is managable until the person is strong willed enough to WANT to stop I am a gambling addict. I started out with Jai Alai, online casinos, gambling boats and finally lottery scratch offs. I have a desire to quit gambling so I joined Gamblers Anonymous - however, my biggest mistake was taking my spouse with me. All that I have heard from my spouse is the negative side of what I shared in the meeting. If he's not there to help me - then he needs to get out of the way so I can get the help I need. I am serious about quitting and I am confident that with God's help I will quit. It has been 10 days since I last bought a scratch off. When I think about the times that I would binge on spending thousands of dollars on scratch offs, it was always because I was unhappy or disappointed about things going on in my life. That is the root cause - now I need to concentrate on focusing my feelings somewhere other than gambling when I am less than pleased with other areas of my life. yeah it is unless and untill u want to really stop it and want to get out of the addiction its not a big deases to get in to gambling its just u need ur control over urself. A addiction is an addiction... no cure just one day at a time. for gdaniel_98 good luck to you.
