Any tips on how to quit gambling?

An addiction has found me and I do not know how to break it's hold on me. I do not have any other serious addictions, per say, but I have heard that it is a mental addiction, which can be harder to quit than a physical one. Help.

It's an addiction just like drugs, alcohol etc. Been there done that.
I'm in recovery 10 years. Please believe be it is nothing but a horrendous path to self destruction. Attend a GA (Gamblers Anonymous) meeting. Just try it.

i am gambler ..what is the soultion ????????
educate my self about the prblem so i can solve it ??
fill me spare time with constructive thing ??
i am going back to school , i hope it will shift my thinking from that habit or that addiction. Report It

Go Broke.

Tough one my dear. Usually the only way to get away from addictive gambling is with a super strong mind and determination (which you probably don't have otherwise you wouldn't ask this question here) or if something dramatic happens like losing your family over it or ending up in the streets. Try to get away from this sh*t, it will ruin your life, it almost ruined mine. - Join a group of other addicts, like AA for alcoholics. 1-866-494-0866, that's a Florida Number but they can help you with help in your area.
