Could any one tell me if there is anyway i can make a gambling site inaccessible to myself as i am gettin myse

into a lot of trouble.

I've often wondered if there's a way of denying your own access to such sites (I need help in this area too!) and asked this question myself, but other than blocking the site in your browser I don't think there's a way. And anyway, if you're like me, you'd find a way round it to get back on there before long.

It's too easy to gamble these days - one or two clicks and that's it - it's really not good for those of us with that tendency to become addicted. It's also easy for others to tell you to discipline yourself and use willpower. Easier said than done!

If you really are getting into serious trouble with it though, I'd perhaps think about getting some psychological help to wean yourself off the addiction. It's a recognised problem and there is help out there - if you want it.

I should practise what I preach *rolls eyes*

OMG are you for real? have some stamina.. stay off the site...

you could just try staying off the internet

There's a guy named Will Power who can help you. Try summoning him up out of the dark corners of your psyche.

will power...

Just will power. Or, you can block those sites with a random password you enter, without looking at what your typing. Good luck.

Go onto internet properties [right hand click on its icon] and add the url to the blocked sites list. This will stop you from being able to enter it.
Then I suggest you find a good psychologist and give him the money you would have wasted gambling to get yourself sorted.

ya, block site, close eyes, 1 hand random keys.

You could look into downloading or buying child-protection software that would presumably block such sites. (You might have to get someone else to install it, so you wouldn't know the codes.) Or why not move the computer somewhere visible to friends/family, so you can't secretly visit the site. You should also visit your doctor to talk about your dependency, and look into gamblers anonymous support groups nearby. It might sound over the top, but better to get a grip on your problem before it gets out of hand and ruins your life and the lives of those who care for you.

Cut the plug off your pc

Take the plug off your computer- go and find other things to do. There is more to life.

You must muster up all your strength, the gambling will ruin you
