Gallstones???? |
I went today to have a u/s of my gallbladder. The nurse from the dr office told me that I had gallstones and they were sending me to a surgeon. Does this mean they are going to remove it or are they going to make me wait and see? I have been in pain for the last 2 months with it but this is the first time I have went to the dr with it. I thought it was a pulled muscle and yesterday got so bad that I could hardly drive and I am still hurting today and I feel sick to my stomach. I threw up a couple of times last night. That has never happened before. I am just tired of the pain and the pain meds they gave me are not working. Odds are if they are sending you to a surgeon you are going to surgery. From what you are describing it may be better to get it done as soon as possible. I have had galls tones for about 15 yrs first got them i was hurting so much and in pain eat anything greasy spicy they woudl act up but now days they can do out patient surgery 3 little holes and they are going or some kind of laser treatment in a tnak of water to shock them They will probably take your gallbladder out, to prevent you from getting them again, hope all goes well鈾?/div> Usually they will remove the gall bladder as soon as possible, if the stones are large, The pain can be unbearable at times and will only get worse so get on to the doctor or surgeon and see if the surgery can be moved up. You are having a gallbladder attack. I am surprised that your doctor did not hospitalize you. The surgeon will remove your gallbladder because of the gallstones. I myself am going through this right now I have a gallstone the size of a quarter and they are going to have to remove mine. If you start hurting more than what you are I would consider going to a hospital where they can control the pain and the nausea. |
