Can fatigue be caused by non-painful gallstones? |
Feeling exhausted/fatigued for couple of months now and had loads of blood tests by GP. Liver tests raised and a scan has shown gallstones. Do not have any typical gallstone type pain. Am awaiting hospital appointment. Meanwhile has anyone heard of a link between gallstones and extreme tiredness? No I am not sure what sort of connection thee could be .Only if you were really worrying about it and increasing stress levels unnecessarily . No, but liver failure has exhaustion as one of its possible features. So can a ton of other stuff. How soon is your appointment? What department is it with? |

not really. you can try cranberry juice, but usually billary duct stones and gallbladder stones are calcified (hard). that is why i laugh when one does a cleanse- the stones produced are merely bi... yes common. the gallbladder can be removed laproscopically. Had mine taken out. good luck ...possibly. i had my pain right below breasts as well. best way to know is to have the doc do an ultrasound. good luck!! ... |
