Could I have gallstones? |
In 2006 when i was pg i started having pains in my chest right under my boobs and it would hurt into my back..well lately i started getting the pains again except that i have been vomiting too. It does not hurt up and down..it hurts right to left. I know i am not pg! Also my mother just got her gallbladder taken out b/c of gallstones..about 3 months ago. I have an apt this next thursday but just wanted to know about it now..any thoughts on what it is.? possibly. i had my pain right below breasts as well. best way to know is to have the doc do an ultrasound. good luck!! 2 of my friends just had their gallbladder out and I was amazed at how wonderful they looked and felt afterward. They both said the surgery was not bad. They were in and out the same day. Hmm! Gallstones can cause abnormal liver tests when they cause obstruction of the bile ducts. However, it would be very unusual for this to cause liver tests to go into the thousands like in the ca... get a second opinion...i've had gallstones for nine years and never had a problem with lack of energy. If your not having attacks it is very unlikely that gallstones could be affecting you tha... I think it could have to do with both.
