What foods should one should eat with Gallstones? |
Anyone know of any good foods and receipes for someone with gallstones? vegetables and fruits, stay away from greasy foods and acidy drinks. Thanks! I couldn't make a joke, because I have stomach problems and its very serious and a dr. told me what to stay awat from, I don't listen of course and its hard, but, I should listen. I don't know any good recipes, I only know what you should or shouldn't have. hope it helps anyway. Report It Something soft. The gallstones are crunchy. Only kidding. You are not suppose to eat fatty foods when you have gallstones. Fava beans ans a nice chianti? Or should you only eat that with liver? I would never cook with gallstones. Seriously, I can tell you what to stay away from: high calcium, high fat, and don't eat rhubarb (high in oxalic acid, which can form stones.) Go to Google search (sorry, Yahoo. Well Yahoo would probably work, too) and type in gallstones patients and narrow it down to diet, and you should get a load of info. Good luck. |
