Can gallstones make nausea come and go? |
i have had very bad stomach pains, and a few months ago i woke up to such bad chest pain i could not breath. could this be gallstones? i'm fine one minute and the next i can feel sick. i'm 31 and have had children. yes gallstones can cause these symptoms, but so can other problems they can detect gallstones with a simple ultrasound to look at the gallbladder. You could have a number of things. Go to a doctor. that's definitely not a classic picture of gallstones. gallstones will cause right upper stomach pain especially after eating a fatty meal. cholecystitis (inflammation of gallbladder) has been known to cause some chest pain but that's not classic either. if this is continuing, you really need to go see an MD. gastric reflux can cause chest pain that bad...and it's episodic in nature (comes and goes). so can really bad blockages in your heart vessels (unstable angina)...this is very serious and needs to be further examined by your family doc. Yes, pain can cause one to be nauseated. yes it can Yes, this sounds like gallstones. If you had that kind of Chest Pain you have got to get to the Doc as soon as possible. you never ingnore chest pain that last for more than 5 second and comes back . |
