What causes pain months after gallbladder surgery. Pain is as bad as before.? |
Had gallbladder surgery in Nov. 2005. Had chronic gallbladder disease with sludge. The pain is in the area of the liver, kidney, & gallbladder. Been tested for many problems all negative. Have to hold pressure in area to get relief. Honestly, its better you consult a specialist to find out what's best for you. I really want to help but I don't think I can give better answers than specialist do. Sorry. I had this problem too! It can be really frustrating. I was told it cold be Irritable Bowl Syndrome and one of the ways they diagnose it is to remove the gallbaldder and if you still have the problem it is IBS. Ask your doctor about antispasmodics to relieve the pain. Also try putting yourself on a gluten free diet. Sometimes people don't realise that food allergies can manifest themselves in this way. Try seeing an allergist and maybe a naturopath for some other solutions. Acupuncture is also great for relieving the pain. Try to find someone who practices Traditional Chinese Medicine in your area. Also the last thing to do is try a liver detaox diet to see if that eases any of the symptoms. I do it once every six months andit helps tons! Good luck! |
