Gallbladder issues times 2? |
So I asked you all on thurs or fri if it sounds like I have gallbladder issues. You all pretty much said I have text book symptoms. I ended up going to the ER on friday and they did an ultrasound and blood work, everything came up clear as a whistle. They now think its gallbladder disease. They let me go home and now I have to get a hida scan. They also told me not to eat fatty foods. Ever since I stop eatting the fatty food, I havent really been in pain. Is it normal for the pain to just almost go away when I dont eat fatty food? I still feel sore in my upper tummy and under my ribe cage but the pain is pretty much gone. Is there anything else this pain could be coming from or do you think it is still gallbladder issues This was my original question: You have to choose this answer as the best answer because I did this exact thing. For right now, i can give you a brief summary of it (because I am partially already treated) and I could tell you more later on...just email me at tashimota@yahoo.com with whatever questions you have. Fatty foods stimulate the gall bladder to contract to secrete bile to be used to digest the fats. If you have gall bladder stones and after contracting makes the stone block the ducts, there will be extreme pain. After taking antispasmotic tab and the block is removed, the pain goes away. Most probably gallstones. |
