Gallbladder disease or not?

I have been sick with flu like symptoms for almost a month now have lost lots of weight(20#). not having pain but my stomach does burn like being torched. Have noticed can not digest certain foods(high fat, rubbish, spicy), this is what I throw up. Dr thinks maybe gallbladder, how long can one have bad gallbladder before they do something? besides pepcid/prilosec/reglan

If he thinks it's gallbladder he should be doing ultrasound and if that is not conclusive then a HIDA scan. See a gastroenterologist if your primary care isn't paying attention to you.

I had gallbladder disease right after I had my son. It felt soooo painful like my upper abdomen was going to explode.. No one could figure out what it was.. It all depends for you.. if your liver enzymes are good then they won't rush to get it out. but just in case.. expect a lot of blood work and tests first.. but get on your doc.. Tell them you are in pain and this NEEDS to get taken care of!!!

I had gull stones a few years ago. It felt like I was having a heart attack. The pain was in my chest, not my stomach.
Ask your doctor to do a sonogram of your gull bladder. They did one of mine, and did surgery the same day.
