What are the symptoms of gallbladder disease ?

I had extreme pain with mine.

Some people experience pain and I'm sure they'll share the details of it with you in their answers here, but I wanted to mention that I didn't have any pain when I had gallstones. The doctor ordered the test when I complained to him about hyperventilating and having mild pain in the chest area. I was shocked to have had 15 stones. :( That was a long time ago - 20 yrs ago and haven't had any hyperventilating since that surgery. Good luck to you!
My daughter had gall stones, too - women in my family have them in their early 20's - she had pain in her abdomen on the right side and it radiated across her front and she had pain in her lower back. She had to wait til the end of college semester for surgery so she had to go on a no fat diet. If she ate anything with fat in it she doubled over in pain. Finally got it removed and she was immediately better. she had a laporoscopy (sp?) and had 3 tiny insertion spots on her abdomen. It was outpatient and for her it was a breeze. She had some pain over a few days and then went back to work. I thought you would have more answers than this and I just wanted to add what I could. Very best to you!
