What are symptoms of gallbladder disease and why don't doctors listen??

I have had my gall bladder removed because of gall bladder disease. Here i show it went ..

I started having just unusual discomfort in my upper stomach that would last for a while and then go away. Over time this progressed to pain which was a very uncomfortable sort of pain which would last for a while and then go away. Then nausea and vomiting began to accompany the pain and each bout of gall bladder attack got longer and longer, more than an hour.
My family doc advised me to go to emergency when I had one of these attacks and they would be able to check then to see if it was gall bladder for sure. An ultrasound can identify if you have gall stones. When they did they found out I had pancreatitis, which is life threatening. I had to sty in hospital until my gall bladder was removed.

The only thing I should add is that I live in Canada so going to the hospital, etc., doesn't cost anything.

Symptoms of gallbladder disease can include: abdominal pain usually in the upper right or upper midline of the abdomen, vomiting especially after a fatty meal, but sometimes people have no symptoms at all. If you think you have a gallbladder problem tell your doctor you want a gallbladder sonogram. If he refuses and doesn't give you a satisfactory answer as to way it's not necessary then change doctors.
