Have gallbladder "disease"?

and my doc is out until Monday, need temporary relief until then. I must inform readers that I am on the opposite spectrum of this, however---mine has mostly been caused due to LOW CALORIE RESTRICTED diet, no fat. I'm very thin and i simply don't eat, hardly ever. and when I do, it's bland stuff. so the spicey or fattening foods is NOT AN ISSUE for me. is there something OTC that will help give me some temporary relief until my doc gets back Monday?

I just had my gallbladder out 2 months ago due to polyps. Had one terrible bout of pain and then seemed everything didn't agree. I'm not an expert in gallbladders but I do know that I feel much better now that mines out.

The ERs standard sheet and the doc's recommendations were for clear liquids and a bland diet so I don't know where that leaves you. I know I tried Pepto Bismol and it helped a little but not much. I also had my Percocet to take when needed but luckily it didn't come to that often. I would just eat what you feel like eating and whatever you think won't aggravate the problem, if you know. If the pain gets too bad, either call your doctor and see if you can speak to whoever is on call for him, or go to the hospital. There is no need to suffer unnecessarily.

You may take an antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day and pain killers, whatever suits you. I take it, you don hav vomiting. It will be a good idea to stick to a fatfree, light diet, mostly liquids. Drink plenty of fluids.

Fat is usually the cause of gall bladder attacks. Your gallbladder breaks it down before shuffling it off to your intestines. Best advice...Drink plenty of fluid eat bread and crackers. Spicy food has no impact on the gallbladder.
If the pain gets severe...go to the er for some relief. and be very careful as a rupture is possible. If you get a fever...don't wait.
Before I got mine out I took prilosec and mylanta. But really...nothing will work other than surgery in the long run.
If you have not been tested for gallbladder disease it could be anything. Rapid weight loss can cause gallbladder problems as well. If you are already thin you could suffer complications due to not having enough nutrition and getting dehydrated.
