GALBLADDER PAIN?!!!!!- medical professionals please help!? |
I have been having excrushiation gallbladder pain, i have been to the ER once, and gotten a migraine that lasted 4 days from it. I have had a hydascan done, and they said i wasn't 'bad' enough for them to do surgery, and to check my stomach. I don't know what to do, other than live off meds, and i am running out of them daily! what can i say or do to convince them to take it out!!! i know 100% that it is my gallbladder, as there is a gallbladder disease that runs in my family, and it needs to come out, they just don't think the [pain] is bad enough! help, what can i say to them from a medical stand point to convince them to take it out!!! Hi dave!! i was just to the ER 2 nights ago for the pain, they gave me some really weak stuff, just to take the edge off, and to stop throwing up, and i went home, waited 4 hrs and took more meds of my own mix. I need to call the ambulance next time! we moved cross country, and i have only been to the dr here once, so i have to start the entire process over again!!! ohhhhhh, it sucks!!! i want the surgery so bad, i know i need it, i don't care what tests i have to go thru, i am actually not even scared of needles anymore, except those that go in places other than my arms, lol. feel free to email me if you want,i will be up. lol. glad it worked out for you!!!! I had it removed too. You know what i insisted that they remove my gall bladder because like you the pain is the worst. Also there wasn't even a lot of stones , it used to just trigger a lot. Put your foot down or see a different doctor. It isn't good for your heart to be in so much pain. Hi! Remember me? (Dave) Make an appointment with a surgeon and go tell him/her your symptoms and how bad the pain is. A gastroenterologist is another good doctor to see if you can't see a surgeon. he can run specific tests on your gall bladder to see how bad it is. They gave me a gall bladder functioning test and found that mine was only functioning at 3%. Normal is at least 33% or higher. Good Luck. |
