GERD/ulcers/symptoms of?? |
i am 23, and ever since i gave birth to my daughter 2 yrs ago i have had so many stomach issues. no bowel issues- just stomach and esophagus... major indigestion and heartburn, and loss of appetite, lots of nausea for no reason. there are times when eating pizza or something equally heavy will upset it more, but generally it's 24/7- and bad. i haven't had insurance (until now- i have an appt w/ a gastro doc on the 14th!) and the doctors i've seen have only given me meds to treat the symptoms... right now i'm on protonix. (no, the surgery they like to perform only works permanently 15% of the time) I take medications (Aciphex currently) to treat the problem. Works fairly well. |
