Vitamins for fungal infections?

What are the recommended supplements for people who are often infected with fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm, athlete's toe, etc? Thank you!

sorry, athlete's foot i meant

Root causes of fugal infections are as follows:

Prolonged or frequent use of antibiotics or corticosteroids, leading to a depletion of good bacteria that normally keep fugus in check
Poor digestion and elimination, Depressed immune system, A high sugar-diet, and poor hygiene ( feet in a damp environment)

Recommendations-
1. Fungus feeds on sugar and yeast, so reduce or eliminate obvious suagr in the diet, such as refined foods, which are likely to be loaded with sugars.

2. Consume foods such as garlic, onions, chorella, spirulina, wheatgrass, and other known to support detoxification.
A green food supplement with one of those mentioned above, would be fine, too.

3.Vitamin C helps the body fight fungal infections by boosting the immune system.

4. Probiotic - 4 billion active organisms, twice daily, thirty minutes after a meal. It supplies friendly bacteria, which fight fungus and prevent its overgrowth.

5. Pau d'arco has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties. Drink several cups everyday.

6.Tea tree oil, which has natural antifungal properties, is highly effective as a topical treatment. Look for creams or lotions that list tea tree oil as one of the top ingredients. You can make your own by mixing two parts tea tree oil to three parts almond oil (or another neutral oil).

i dont think vitamins are going to help with athletes foot. if you want to prevent it either get some athlete's foot medication and follow the directions on the bottle for prevention, put some baby powder in your shoes to dry up the moisture, and wear loose fitting or well vented shoes so your feet dont get hot and sweaty (which are ideal conditions for fungal infections). if youre diabetic not managing your blood sugar well can contribute. most if not all of the products that are claimed to "boost your immune system" dont work, and even if they did antibodies arent secreted from your feet so it wouldnt have much of an effect.

Hi the DoEr,
Taking zinc supplements and vitamin E from a good source will help speeding up the process. Also I'd like to share with you a healing substance that can improve your life and the life of your friends in an extraordinary way. Oil of Oregano is a natural, broad-spectrum antibiotic. This means that even if you don't know where an infection originates, the Oil of Oregano will find and attack it. Besides this it is anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-parasite and a remedy for yeast/candida overgrowth.

Matricaria is also antifungus.

here are some supplements that i give for this problem
