tea tree oil is great since its anti-fungal and acts as an antiseptic. If you have fungus for dandruff, check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com and click on the dandruff link on the left.

the most commonfungal infection on the head is also known medically as Tinea capitis caused by fungi such as Microsporum.canis and Tricophyton.verrucosum.

The best treatment for this is of course the azole drug such as Ketoconazole&Itraconazole and also Terbinafine.Haloprogin is also effective.

Dun take matter into ur own hands,if the problem persist even after the drug above administered,see a physician.: )
