What is etiology of vaginal fungal infection? what are the preventive measures to avoid vaginal infections? Its mostly coz of Candida albicans. which usually inhabits the vagina of lactating women, ones with diabetes or other immunocompromised states( but can also affect any age group). One get curdy white discharge n intense itch in the vulval region. Its acquired from the env. esp using contaminated articles n baths of other affecteds. Most common during menses as local defenses are weakened. Candida is one of them. Hygiene. First check with your doctor to see if it is a fungal infection. Fungal infection can come from alot of different place. Sweating, soaps, wet batheing suits, powders and anything scented can cause them. Bathing is one way. If you wear thongs stop the string carries bacteria from your backside to your front side. its an infections caused mostly by organism called candida albicans, one of the preventive measure is by eating cranberry and yogourt which believe to have aonme kind of organism that fight backs bad bacteria.it is also advised to avoid taking antibiotics if possible specially tetracycline for it inhibits the growth of candida in the sorrounding area of the vagina I am prone to these darn things, but I have combated it with a yeast cleanse (at the health food store) and I take Acidophilus every day. That has helped me soooo much! keep urself n ur ****** clean always...... Dats the best preventive measure........... avoid using public urinary which are not hygenic |
