I suffer from fungal infection between the toes. can this spread to the whole body like an itch?

what i mean is will this fungal infection spread to the whole body without any visible outbreaks on the skin except violent itching? How can the athelet's foot be treated with ointmens? which external ointment shoulg i use. i suffer from this athelet's foot since years.

If you make sure that you dry between your toes very well after bathing, that will help.
A temporary way to help stop the itch, is to wedge rolled up tissue between the toes. It soaks up any fluid, keeps the toes slightly apart, and gives time to heal.
I believe its likely to go away if you wash between your toes often,, and dry well. Then try not to wear socks, and wear open-toed sandals as often as possible, or even go bare foot.

It is extremely unlikel.y to spread, except maybe to other toes.

lamisil otc is good...try that. if it doesn't work, see your doctor, they can usually prescribe lamisil or penlac for it. they'll ask u to take a liver test first, and while ur on that medicine, it's important to check ur liver enzymes every 6 weeks. can it spread on ur body, i don't think so but it will on ur toes.

Fugus needs a warm and moist environment to live. So that is the only location where it would infect. You can think of areas on the body which are moist and warm. The area between the ball sac and legs is one such area. Most OTC meds work wherever it is growing.

Hiya.. you can sprinkle some natural lemon juice or organic cider vinegar on your toes because fungus does not like acid environments. As the others say, its best to wash and dry them. I believe sometimes anti fungal creams can worsen or activate the existing fungus.. Drink plenty of water, avoid sugar, bread, carbohydrates starchy foods. Its like food to fungus. Eat bitter foods Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and do exercise to build up your immunity system and regularly get rid of your shocks by perhaps purchasing a bundle of new shocks every month also make sure they are cotton.
