Frostbite?!!? |
Swollen Ear? today it was really cold like -35 and my left ear started to sting like crazy, i had only a hood on (expecting a ride from school) Since your ear is swollen and red, I don't think it's frostbite. Frostbite is a lack of circulation, and if you had it, your ear would be white, not hot and swollen (which indicates that it's getting blood to it.) that's not frostbite, well i dont think.. cause if it was, you wouldnt feel your ear..i'm pretty sure It does sound like you have frostbite. Here is a website describing how it looks and feels. According to WebMd, doesn't sound like it, maybe you got out of the cold in time enough to keep it from really happening. |
