Discoloring from frostbite? |
I have frostbite but its not that bad but the area is discolored (purple) will that go away or what? Yes it will eventually return to normal. But give it time to heal. Don't go out and have it frost bitten again. If your frostbite has been looked at by your doctor (which I hope you have visited someone about) then he/she will most likely say that the discoloring is due 2 the blood not circulating in the areas which are purple. I'm sure eventually the color will fade, but I advise you 2 check this with your Gp ;) Good Luck the purple area is because the blood circulation is not moving normally , you should shake more often and take deep breath. get some sun too. My friend got frostbite on her pinky when she was a kid. It went away, but when it gets really cold, it turns purple! It doesn't hurt her, it's just a freaky phenomenon. |
